This vintage ‘Strand Electric’ theatre lamp is a working floor lamp converted from an original Strand Electric Patt 23 spotlight, historically used in English theatres to produce a precise stage beam. Nicknamed the “Pig Nose” or “Pipo” spotlight, it was the world’s first mass-produced theatre spotlight during the 1960s golden age of stage performance. Its vintage patina and industrial character make it a striking focal point for loft apartments, industrial-themed spaces, or modern interiors.
